The Future of Home Care™

What If Care Adapted to the Person—Instead of the Person Always Having to Adapt to Care?

For people living with limited mobility, essential daily care can mean repeated assistance, physical transfers and leaving the place where they are most comfortable—turning ordinary routines like bathing and personal hygiene into more complicated experiences.

After years inside world-class science and regulatory environments, Thelma began asking a different question: What if the goal isn't simply to move people to where care happens—but to bring more essential care to where the person already is?

Dignity in place.

From Vision to Innovation

Meet AidesPro™

Reimagining the Bed as a More Capable Care Environment

Thelma saw a problem hiding inside an everyday care routine: for someone who cannot easily leave the bed, bathing, toileting and other essential personal care can require moving the person to where the care happens.

Her answer was to rethink the bed itself.

Invented by Thelma Liverpool and developed through Thanni Holding Corporation, AidesPro™ brings essential personal-care functions closer to the person through an integrated, patented care environment designed around dignity, mobility limitations and the realities of caregiving.

What the Innovation Makes Possible

Bathing in Place

Supports bathing and showering while the person remains in bed.

In-Bed Toileting

Supports essential toileting without moving to a conventional bathroom.

Waste & Water Management

Integrates collection, drainage and waste-management functions bedside.

Beyond the Bed

Extends the person-centered approach into additional care and mobility environments.

The Larger Idea Isn't Simply a Better Bed.
It's a Better Way to Think About Where Care Happens.

Protected Innovation

From Idea to Intellectual Property

Thelma Liverpool didn't stop at identifying a care challenge or developing an invention. She took the additional step of protecting the intellectual property behind her work—turning an idea into a protected innovation with greater potential to be developed and advanced.

Thelma's Point of View

The Dignity Imperative™ for Home Care

For Thelma, the true measure of home-care innovation isn't simply what technology can do. It's whether that innovation preserves dignity, supports independence and makes care more workable for the people giving and receiving it.

Four Principles for More Human-Centered Care

01

Care Where the Person Is

Design more essential care around where the person already is rather than continually requiring the person to adapt to the care environment.

02

Dignity by Design

Treat privacy, comfort and humanity as design requirements—not secondary considerations.

03

Independence Where Possible

Use innovation to support what people can still do for themselves and reduce unnecessary dependency.

04

Better Tools for Caregivers

Design around the realities of hands-on care so caregivers are better supported in the work they do every day.

The Future Isn't Just Smarter Equipment.
It's Care Designed Around the Person.

A Lifetime of Curiosity Put to Work

The Experience Behind the Vision

A Lifetime of Science, Curiosity & Problem-Solving

Thelma's journey to home-care innovation didn't begin in a startup incubator. It was shaped across decades of scientific training, corporate problem-solving, global experience, entrepreneurship and invention.

Each chapter strengthened the same instinct: observe closely, question limitations and look for a better way.

  1. 01

    Science

    Scientific Foundation

Chemistry education at Howard University and Fisk University established a foundation in scientific thinking, disciplined inquiry and problem-solving.

  2. 02

    Real-World Problem-Solving

    Science in Practice

At DuPont, Thelma applied that foundation across scientific, safety, health, environmental and regulatory responsibilities — experience that deepened her understanding of how ideas must work within real-world systems.

  3. 03

    Broader Experience

    A Broader Worldview

International work, Peace Corps service, language study and entrepreneurship across countries expanded the way Thelma approached people, problems and opportunity. In under-resourced communities, she saw children caring for sick parents before school — an early, formative encounter with how much unpaid, unsupported caregiving happens outside any formal system. Years later, during the Ebola crisis, she witnessed the direct physical risks health workers faced from prolonged contact with infectious waste. Both experiences would eventually shape her thinking about safer, more dignified approaches to hands-on care.

  4. 04

    Everything Led Here.

    Invention

    From Problem-Solver to Inventor

That accumulated experience ultimately converged in product development, intellectual-property protection, the founding of Thanni Holding Corporation and a new focus on person-centered home-care innovation.

Observe closely.
Question limitations.
Find a better way.

A problem-solving instinct shaped across a lifetime — and now applied to the future of home care.
